6 SeriesPeter Mayle (1939-2018) was a British author known for his memoirs about life as an expatriate in Provence, France. He began his writing career with sex education and children's books before finding success with his Provence series. His novel "A Good Year" was adapted into a film directed by Ridley Scott, starring Russell Crowe and Marion Cotillard.
Peter Mayle's works include "The Amazing Adventures of Chilly Billy," also known as "Chilly Billy." He co-authored "As Dead as a Dodo" with Paul Rice. Mayle explored sensitive topics in "Divorce: What Shall We Tell the Children?" and "We're Not Pregnant: An Illustrated Guide to Birth Control," which were alternatively titled "Divorce Can Happen to the Nicest People" and "Congratulations, You're Not Pregnant," respectively. His collaborations extend to the "Wicked Willie" series with Gray Jolliffe, "Dangerous Candy" with Raffaella Fletcher, and "Confessions of a French Baker" with Gerard Auzet.
