8 SeriesPeter Berresford Ellis, a British novelist, historian, and biographer, writes historical mysteries as Peter Tremayne, notably the Sister Fidelma series, and previously authored horror novels. Under the pseudonym Peter MacAlan, he wrote adventure-thrillers from 1983 to 1993. Since becoming a full-time writer in 1975, he has produced approximately 100 books, 100 short stories, and numerous other works.
Peter Tremayne, also known as Peter MacAlan, authored several novels including "Judas Battalion," "Airship," "The Confession," "Kitchener's Gold," "Valkyrie Directive," "Fireball," and "The Windsor Protocol." He also wrote the non-fiction book "Creeper's Secret War," co-authored with Peter Haining, and "The Un-Dead." Under different titles, his works include "Dracula Unborn" (also published as "Bloodright: Memoirs of Micrea Son to Dracula") and "Ravenmoon" (also known as "Bloodmist"). Additionally, "Irish Masters of Fantasy" was alternatively titled "The Wondersmith and Other Macabre Tales." Tremayne's diverse bibliography spans both fiction and non-fiction genres.
