Amanda Cabot is an American author known for her Christian-themed contemporary and historical romance novels, including the Texas Dreams Trilogy and Texas Crossroads series. She achieved her goal of selling a novel by her thirtieth birthday and has since sold over thirty novels under various pen names. A charter member of the Romance Writers of America and co-founder of its New Jersey chapter, she resides in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

In "Firefly Valley," Amanda Cabot introduces Marisa St. George, who, after being downsized, reluctantly returns to her hometown in Texas to manage the Rainbow's End resort. Her new role feels like a step back, but the arrival of Blake Kendall sparks an immediate attraction and renews her belief in love at first sight. However, Marisa's budding romance and hope for a happy ending are threatened when she discovers Blake's true identity. Will this revelation crush her dreams, or can their connection withstand the truth?
