Paula Fox

Paula Fox (1923-2017) was an acclaimed American author known for her works in YA, children's, and literary fiction, as well as non-fiction. She was a two-time Newbery Medal recipient and also received the Hans Christian Andersen Medal and the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis. Fox attended Columbia University and was married to literary critic and translator Martin Greenberg.
