Gil McNeil is a British author known for her women's fiction novels. Her work, "The Only Boy For Me," was adapted into a major ITV prime-time drama in 2007. She has co-edited five story collections with Sarah Brown and serves as Director of the charity PiggyBankKids, which supports children's opportunities. McNeil resides in Kent, England, with her son.

Gil McNeil's "Divas Don't Knit," also known as "The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club," is a novel that explores the dynamics of a knitting community. McNeil has also contributed to the anthology "Journey To The Sea," alongside Sarah Brown and Hugo Tagholm. Additionally, she co-edited the anthologies "Magic" and "Summer Magic" with Sarah Brown. McNeil and Brown also co-authored the non-fiction books "Mums," "Dads," and "Grandparents," focusing on family relationships.
